On April 13, 2014, our family was blessed with a little girl, a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin, named Mackenzie Blair. Loved by all with a happy personality, she was always smiling and carrying her ‘baby’ around the house.
On December 22, 2015, too soon after she became a part of our family, Mackenzie passed away while she was taking a nap. The Medical Examiner determined that she passed away from natural causes. After much research, we found out about SUDC, or Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood, which is a category of death in children 1-18 who die without a cause.
We are a mom, dad and brother trying to spread awareness as far as we can in honor of Mackenzie and to make some more good happen in the world by spreading her love and happiness.
